Jim’s quest for excellence in insurance began in 1985 after attending the University of Alabama. With inspired vision Jim pursues lasting relationships with wisdom and honor. Throughout his life Jim has been placed in leadership as a member of Alabama House of Representatives,  president of the Alabama Independent Insurance Agents Association, two time president of Rotary, three time president of the Chamber of Commerce, as well as organizing Christmas parades, and 5K runs. Aside from JMI, Jim’s most fulfilling leadership role is small group leader with Church of the Highlands. Influencing people to the center of God’s will for their life, Jim has discovered, is one of life’s most rewarding things.

Jim’s greatest blessings are his children Hannah and Andrew.

Jim does not take lightly his gift of ownership of JMI, and prays daily for wise stewardship of the relationships God has so graciously granted.

Candida manages and has been an integral part of the agency since 2001. Her dedication and commitment to the clients of JMI is unprecedented. She uses wisdom to provide excellent insurance and high-quality customer service. She continues to master the industry and has become a Certified Insurance Counselor. She is always advancing her knowledge of the insurance industry to better serve all clients in every area.

Candida is an Alabama native. She graduated Valedictorian of Sardis High School and has a business administration degree from Wallace State CC. She is active in her community and has participated in the Leadership Blount County Class.

She married her husband Ron in 1995 and they have two children, Natalie and Seth.

When Candida is away from the office she enjoys spending time with her family and is actively involved in her church.

Jamie Hubbard joined the JMI team in 2013 with prior real estate and insurance experience. She obtained her insurance licensing in 2010 and has a thorough knowledge of personal lines. Her wisdom of the industry benefits her clients so they are confident in her advice. Her willingness to provide excellent insurance and build customer relations makes her an asset to the agency.

 

Jamie is an Alabama native and graduate of Corner High School. Jamie and her husband, Steve, married in 1997 and they have 5 children.

April joined the JMI team in 2022 with prior real estate experience and quickly obtained her insurance license. Her warm and inviting customer service personality compliments her thorough knowledge of insurance.

 

April is an Alabama native and graduated from Pinson High School. She enjoys spending time with her husband Matt and son Nate. She is also involved with the youth at her church.

Thea Murphree has dedicated her career to the field of insurance since 2002. She specializes in commercial lines and administrative support. She provides reliable service to the agency’s clients.

 

Thea and her husband Ted, and son Micah, enjoy spending time at their farm.

Audrey joined the JMI team in 2021, where she became the office receptionist. As she begins a profession in insurance, she plans to flourish within this business and create a long-lasting career with Jim Murphree Insurance. As she becomes more familiar with clients, she specializes in customer service and providing assistance whenever she can.

 

Audrey is an Alabama native and graduated Salutatorian of Appalachian High School. As she attends Wallace State CC, she plans to obtain a business degree and let her future grow from there. When Audrey is away from the office, she enjoys painting and playing piano.
